Richelle Howard is an Associate Licensed Counselor under the supervision of Carrie Halladay, LPC-S. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from University of South Florida and her Master of Science in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University.
For the past several years, she has worked with individuals, families, children and adolescents, and young adults in the areas of depression, trauma, domestic violence, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral problems in adolescents, self-esteem, family dynamics, coping skills, cognitive reframing, life/career transition, grief, stress management, work-life balance, and relationship issues.
While her work is spontaneous, improvisational, and often tailored to the specific needs, strengths, and desires of her clients, it is consistently informed by and primarily grounded in the areas of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused/Strength-Based Therapy to assist in helping clients identify and work on their goals.
Richelle’s personable, warm, and empathetic nature allows her to connect with her clients in a way that allows them to feel seen, heard, and prepared for the change they desire most. Her core objective is to educate, advocate for, and empower a diverse group of individuals looking to experience emotional healing and wellness and an enhanced quality of life.
She enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Chris and their two children, Kai and Kayden. She also loves to bake desserts, binge watching true crime documentaries, reading, and journaling.
